Actress Lekaa El-Khamisi topped the Google search engine trend after she appeared crying on the red carpet while attending the seventh edition of the El Gouna Film Festival.

The reason for Laila El Khamisi's crying The Egyptian artist explained, on the red carpet of the movie “The White Dress”, the reason for her crying after watching one of the movies that was shown during the events, noting, “I thought all the old movies were good and there was real cinema and production, and we loved our stars in the cinema. Imagine seeing the journey of your life from when you were young until we reached this stage.”

She also revealed her opinion on holding the festival's activities amidst the bloody wars and continuous bombing that have befallen the Arab world, noting: "Through cinema, we can speak clearly about all the crises in the world, because it is the word that changes all difficulties for the better, and filmmakers are influential, and cinema is more important than drama because it addresses the whole world."

Laila El Khamisi is upset by the offensive comments Egyptian actress, Lekaa El-Khamisi, had previously responded to the negative comments she received from social media users due to her videos in which she provides life advice and guidance to her followers on TikTok.

In a video clip that the artist posted on her personal account on the TikTok application, she said: “I posted some videos in which I talk to girls about positive things, and some nice people ask me questions and I answer them as best I can, but there are some people who like to interfere and spoil the mood or need someone to fix their psychological state to get rid of the problems that make them negative all the time.”

The artist continued, saying: “These people think that this is how they express their opinions. They have to make mistakes or make fools of any information, or say some words that do not have a dictionary. In other words, someone commented on one of the videos saying, ‘You are old and you are a failure.’ Well, you will become old and everyone becomes old. You think I am old, but I think I am still young.”
