3 minutes reveal the secrets of the techniques used to film “Taj”

The series "Taj" used the latest graphics and visual effects (VFX) technology during action shots, to spread snapshots of the past of Damascus.

The company, Al-Sabah Brothers, published a 3-minute video clip on their YouTube channel showing the scenes of filming the series “Taj”, which was shown last Ramadan, and on the Shahid platform.

As revealed in a video shared by the production company, the scene was brought to life using artificial intelligence (AI) on the faces of the replaced presidents.

The film takes place in the city of Damascus in the 1940s after World War II, and follows Taj, a former boxing champion who developed moral values, love for his country, and resistance to colonialism. He was accused of treason and lost everything he owned.

Events of the last episode of the Taj series The last episode of the Taj series witnessed many breathtaking events, as Taj tries to retrieve his wife Nouran and his daughter Salma, so he takes Riyad in the car to show him the whereabouts of his daughter Salma in Beirut. Taj and Nouran arrive to find Salma in the hands of a number of men, so he tries to take Salma in exchange for handing them Riyad over, but Riyad refuses to return Salma without taking Nouran with him, and in a moment of strength Nouran is able to kill him with a dagger in her hand, and thus Taj is able to return his wife and daughter to his embrace. The final episode of the Taj series also reviews Syria’s independence and victory celebrations, and thus we witness a happy ending and documentation of its evacuation. The French colonizers took control of Syria on April 17, 1946. At the end of the series, Taj and Salim appear in 1967 in different forms, as they grow older and appear different.
