<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">The Egyptian Opera House and the Arab Music Festival announced the details of the new session of the festival, which will be held over 14 days at the Egyptian Opera House and a number of governorates. This comes after a year-long hiatus due to the events in Gaza.</p><h2 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="color:hsl(187, 48%, 51%);">Sayed Darwish course</span></h2><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The new session will start on October 10th, and is dedicated to the spirit of the great artist Sayed Darwish, known as the People's Artist.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The events will continue for 14 days at various opera theatres in Cairo, including the Fountain, Grand, Small, Republic, and Arab Music Institute theatres, in addition to Sayed Darwish Theatre at the Alexandria Opera House and Damanhour Opera House.</p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="color:hsl(187, 48%, 51%);">Arabic Music Festival Concerts</span></h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The festival will include 48 concerts with the participation of 115 artists from 20 Arab countries, including "Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Oman, Tunisia, Palestine, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Norway, the United States, Libya, Sudan, Morocco, Spain, France, Portugal, and the Emirates."</p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="color:hsl(187, 48%, 51%);">Most prominent participants</span></h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The festival will feature 78 prominent artists from across the Arab world, including Medhat Saleh, Ali El Haggar, Hany Shaker, Reham Abdel Hakim, Ahmed Saad, Tamer Ashour, and Mai Farouk from Egypt, Lina Chamamyan, Assi El Hallani, Wael Jassar, and Abeer Nehme from Lebanon, Lotfi Bouchnak from Tunisia, Nidaa Sharara from Jordan, and Majd Al Qassem from Syria. The event will be concluded by the great musician Omar Khairat.</p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="color:hsl(187, 48%, 51%);">Honoring personalities</span></h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The session will witness the honoring of 19 figures who contributed to enriching the artistic scene in Egypt and the Arab world, most notably poet Hussein Al-Sayed, poet Mamoun Al-Shennawy, oud player Hazem Shaheen, koula player Abdullah Helmy, musician Mamdouh Saif from Saudi Arabia, musician Khalid bin Hamad Al-Busaidi from Oman, musician Salah Al-Sharnoubi from Egypt, singer Fouad Zabadi from Morocco, singer Lotfi Bouchnak from Tunisia, singer Mohamed Mounir, musician Ziad Rahbani from Lebanon, and Professor Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem (former Minister of Culture).</p>
