Çagatay Ulusoy born September 23, 1990 is a Turkish actor and model who started his acting career in the TV series Adını Feriha Koydum (2011-2012) as Emir Sarafoğlu.

Since then he has played important leading roles in Medcezir (2013-2015), a remake of the TV series The OC, in the TV series İçerde and from 2018 to 2020 he played the lead role in Netflix's first Turkish series The Protector.

Çagatay Ulusoy was born in Istanbul, Turkey. His paternal family is of Turkish origin who immigrated to Turkey from Bulgaria. His father immigrated when he was ten years old. He has a younger brother named Atalay. His maternal family is of Bosnian origin. After graduating from high school, Ulusoy first began studying at the Department of Landscape and Garden Design at Istanbul University.

Çagatay Ulusoy was a hyperactive child. His parents put him into sports at an early age to get the most out of his energy. He dreamed of being a basketball player for nine years. Çagatay Ulusoy was very good at swimming and diving, then he started working as a model at the age of nineteen while in 2010, Çagatay Ulusoy won a modeling competition in Turkey and was chosen as the best model in Turkey.

On the same night he was chosen as the best male model of the year, he received his first acting job offer in the TV series Adini Feriha Koydum. In 2011, he filmed his first movie Anadolu Kartallari, playing a supporting role. Earlier in the same year, Ulusoy starred in the TV series Adını Feriha Koydum as Emir Sarafoğlu.

While the first two seasons of the series were successful, the third season, which was shown under another title Emir'in Yolu, was Less successful and due to low ratings, it was cancelled after a few episodes in 2012. Between 2018 and 2020, Ulusoy played the lead role of Hakan in the Netflix series The Protector. The Protector was the first Turkish series on Netflix.[24]

Turkish journalist Birsen said in this regard that KanalD, which is achieving a huge leap in ratings with its new series The Distant City, adapted from the series Al Hayba, has added the series Ashraf, starring Çagatay Ulusoy, to its list of series.

The series Ashraf, the star of the series Ghadar, returns to television, produced by Tims&B, written by Ethem Ozcik, directed by Uluk Bayraktar, and is scheduled to air in February.

What is the story of the Ashraf series? The work follows the story of the young man Ashraf, who works in illegal work. During his childhood, he falls in love with a girl he meets by chance while working on a farm in the Afyon region, where he and his uncle worked as seasonal workers, and he names her Ruya. Ashraf lives his whole life hoping to meet Ruya, until he meets a girl named Nisan in his youth, and decides for the first time to give up the love of his life, Ruya, and give Nisan a chance.

But it later turns out that Nissan is manipulating Ashraf, as she has entered his life as an informant under the orders of a police officer named Cigdem, who is obsessed with the idea of catching and convicting Ashraf. The name of the Turkish star Demet Ozdemir has been trending on social media during the past hours, after announcing her joining the cast of the series Ashraf's Dream, alongside her colleague, the Turkish star Cagatay Ulusoy.

The series "Ashraf's Dream" is produced by Tims&B, and directed by Uluc Barırıkdar, whose most notable works include (Ezel, The Boss, Inside - The Collision - and Babel).

It was written by Adham Ozcik, and his most prominent works include (Another Person, The Organization, Maraşlı, The Covenant, and Poyraz Karayel), and filming is scheduled to begin at the end of next January.

In it, Demet plays the role of the musical girl "Nissan", the girl Ashraf saw in his childhood and fell in love with.

Demet is scheduled to perform some singing parts in the work.

The story of Ashraf's Dream series

The work tells the story of "Ashraf, a bold and strong young man who has money and power due to his illegal work, as he is the leader of a criminal organization called (Orphans), but he is a prisoner of love for a girl whose name he does not know, whom he saw on a farm during his childhood, and chose the name "Ruya" for her.

"Nisan" enters his life, an informant for a police officer named "Chidam" who is obsessed with catching Ashraf.

The series is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2025, after filming is completed.

The audience expressed their excitement to see the special chemistry between Demet and Cagatay, especially since they were one of the most anticipated duos on screen.

What increased the audience's enthusiasm was the announcement of the joining of the star Najib Mamili, who had withdrawn from starring in the series "The Smell of the Box", as the audience considered that he would be a very special addition to the work.
