Abeer Nehme joins the UN campaign to protect women's rights

Lebanese artist, Abeer Nehme , announced her support for the UN Women campaign against gender-based violence, affirming her full support for this global initiative aimed at protecting the rights of women and girls everywhere.

Abeer Nehme posted a video on her official Instagram account, expressing her pride in participating in the "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence" campaign, launched by UN Women in late 2023. She said: "I am Abeer Nehme from Lebanon. I am honored to participate in this important campaign, and I am proud to use my voice to support women's rights and defend them against all forms of violence."

In her message, the Lebanese star saluted the organization on the occasion of its 15th anniversary, wishing it continued success and prosperity, saying, "I hope that UN Women will continue to carry the torch of equality and justice, and that women and girls will be able to actively participate in public life and be agents of real change."
