The artist explained that the decision was made as a result of adverse weather conditions, as the US Federal Aviation Administration suspended all flights to and from Newark International Airport due to a severe storm.

From inside Detroit Airport, Abeer appeared in a touching video, in which she spoke about her deep sadness over the sudden delay, saying:
