<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">The sixth edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, one of the largest and most important events specializing in luxury boats, yachts and marine sports in the region, concluded yesterday. </p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:800/533;" src="https://cdn.sbisiali.com/news/images/b3446051-b88e-4154-8326-5f43e3bfce70.jpg" ></figure><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and CEO of ADNEC Group, said: “The great success of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2024 reflects our commitment at ADNEC Group to excellence in planning and organisation, building a global marine platform that combines innovation and unique experience, and confirming that ADNEC is the leading global destination for organising and hosting major marine events.” </p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:1000/750;" src="https://cdn.sbisiali.com/news/images/fbf73ff9-13ae-4a38-aa54-bca204154632.jpeg" ></figure><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> He explained that the current edition witnessed wide participation from 43,732 visitors, representing a 25% increase compared to the previous edition, and a significant increase in the exhibition area and the number of exhibitors, which strengthened Abu Dhabi's position as a leading center for innovation and sustainability in the global maritime sector.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The exhibition has also witnessed a significant growth in size and scope, with the exhibition area expanding by 15% to 75,000 square metres. In addition, the number of exhibitors and brands has increased by 14% to 813, compared to 711 in the previous edition, with exhibitors from 56 countries participating, including six countries participating for the first time, namely Luxembourg, Greece, Sweden, Egypt, Bahrain and Russia. </p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:900/600;" src="https://cdn.sbisiali.com/news/images/9355a664-daa0-446f-9a0d-185a8cd57697.webp" ></figure><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Nine specialized workshops were organized, covering various topics such as marine scientific research, sustainable initiatives, and marine education through the Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy, in addition to the “Little Captain” workshop.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Public maritime transport, waste management at marinas, and beach safety were also highlighted, enhancing the exhibition’s value as an educational and awareness platform. The exhibition was organised in partnership with a range of strategic entities, including Abu Dhabi Maritime as a strategic partner, Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi as a knowledge and sustainability partner, and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi as an official destination partner.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The exhibition also highlighted Abu Dhabi’s pioneering role in organising world-class maritime events.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p>
