Actress Nahal Anbar, a member of the Actors Syndicate Board of Directors, expressed her opinion on the bloggers’ representation crisis. Nahal Anbar said during her meeting with the Emirati platform Specialy, “Bloggers who want to act should pay and benefit the syndicate, and the producer who wants a permit should pay a large sum to the syndicate, and this benefits colleagues in treatment and the syndicate’s obligations.” Anbar also stressed during the meeting that talent is also important, but if the demands for them to enter the world of acting continue, this must be in exchange for an official permit from the Actors Syndicate.

For his part, the artist Ashraf Zaki, the head of the Actors Syndicate, said that the law is the only regulator of this issue, saying, “Anyone has the right to act, but they need a license from the syndicate and a permit to do so, just like anyone who has the right to drive, but can I drive without a legal license?” During the report prepared by the Speciale platform, artist Mohamed Ezz

Regarding his opinion on the issue, he said, “Talent is the most important thing to me, because if we challenged talents and YouTubers, for example, who wanted to act, we would lose Ahmed Amin and Akram Hosny because they started on YouTube.”

As for the artist Mohamed Riad, he confirmed that study and culture are the most important weapons for any blogger before entering the world of acting.

It is noteworthy that the Actors Syndicate had suspended the screening permit for the movie “Tarot Cards” due to the presence of a blogger among the stars of the work, in implementation of the previous decision issued by the Syndicate not to permit the representation of bloggers in series and movies.
