After an absence... Rashed Al Majed returns with a new album

Sinbad of the Gulf song, artist Rashid Al Majed, is preparing to return to his artistic activity after he is close to finishing recording his new album.

Details about the new album The album includes the words of a group of prominent poets, including the late Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, and Ahmed Alawi, in addition to others. It was composed by musician Dr. Talal.

The number of songs in the album ranges between 11 and 13, making this album the first long-form release by Rashed Al Majed after an absence that lasted for more than 10 years.

Rashid Al Majed also finished recording a new song dedicated to the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in addition to a group of songs that he intends to release later as solo works.

Rashid Al Majed and Badr bin Abdul Mohsen Rashid Al Majid's last television statement was after the death of the poet Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen last May, in which he expressed his deep sadness at his passing, revealing the details of the last phone call that brought them together.

Al-Majed said that he did not comprehend the matter of the poet’s death, but in the end it was an act of God’s will, adding that there was work he had been preparing for with the poet, over the past three months, and he spoke with him for a long time, just two weeks before his death, through a phone call about the details. The expected work that will bring them together.

Al-Majed continued: Prince Badr - may God have mercy on him - asked me to send him the song, which we worked on together in order to hear it with melodies, and he expressed his admiration for it, saying: I wish all my poems could be sung by you.
