After agreeing to star in the movie “Leave It to the Wind,” Turkish actor Baris Arduç officially announced his contract to star in the series “The President,” which has a mafia and drama theme.

While writer Shibnam Aksoy was the first to prepare the idea and scenario for the work, the writing task was assigned to writer Asli Zengin, who is known for writing summer series such as “The Early Bird” and “Mr. Wrong.”

The desire to produce this work goes back many years, as the story of its production carries some complications. Preparation for it began in 2017 under the name “Barish,” but it did not happen.

In 2019, the name of the work was changed to “The President”, as Tims&B obtained the rights to produce it, for the benefit of the “Show TV” channel, and at that time it agreed with the star Burak Deniz to embody the character of the financial expert Fatih, and the star Dylan Deniz to play the character of Ella.

Hande will play the role of Aslı Matsui, who fights for the family business, while Barış will play the role of a famous businessman named Ece Bazici, in an exciting love story between Asli and Ece who come together.

The film is directed by Engin Erden, and written by Ceylan Naz Paylan, the author of the film “Merve Kült,” which is shown on Netflix, while details of the film and other actors will be announced in the coming days.
