Ahmed Saad's coat is for sale at this price

Artist Ahmed Saad announced that he has opened an auction for the coat he wore at the Joy Awards ceremony, with all the money collected from the sale going to the 57357 Hospital for the treatment of children's cancer.

Saad explained that he decided to start the auction at 5 million pounds, due to the wide fame the coat gained on social media, stressing that its value exceeds 20 thousand dollars, which is equivalent to about one million Egyptian pounds.

During the ceremony, Ahmed wore a strange coat and an earring. During the Al Hekaya program with Amr Adeeb, in response to the criticism he received, Saad said: “They say, ‘Is there a man who wears an earring?’ There is no difference between manhood and masculinity.”

Saad added that he had previously apologized for wearing the earrings, but at the same time he noticed that the criticism he was exposed to did not exist in reality, saying: “I see people criticizing me, but when I go out in society I see the complete opposite, I do not see this criticism.”

Ahmed Saad added that he receives support and encouragement from people in his daily life despite the criticism raised on social media. He also stressed that he does not see any problem with wearing earrings, noting that there is a big difference between manliness and masculinity.

Controversy over the song's similarity to Amr Diab

On the other hand, regarding the controversy surrounding the similarity of the melody of his new song “Habibna” to the melody of the song “Habibi Ya Nour El Ain” by the great singer Amr Diab, Ahmed Saad said: “There are many songs that share the same musical scale, and this is normal in the world of music.”

Saad expressed his great admiration for Amr Diab, considering him a legend and saying: "We would be crazy if we were not influenced by Amr Diab. He is the one who honored us and since our lives began we have been influenced by him and his songs."
