"Ahmose" and "Ramses" turn into comic vampires in "Draco Ra"

Nile Wood Productions, in collaboration with United Brothers, Trend VFX, Arabia Pictures, and Media Life, has released the official trailer for the highly anticipated fantasy comedy film “Draco Ra,” in preparation for its release in cinemas across the Arab world on October 31.

The trailer begins with the two vampire brothers, Ahmose and Ramses, waking up from their tomb after thousands of years. As they try to adapt to the modern world, they find themselves in funny and difficult situations, and are forced to find creative ways to drink human blood and avoid the sun that threatens to turn them to ash. Along the way, they experience feelings of love for humans and enter into many confrontations.

Commenting on the work, he said, "Blood can never be water... The official trailer for the movie Draco Ra. The movie will be shown in Egypt starting October 30... and starting October 31 in cinemas across the Arab world."

Events and makers of the movie "Draco Ra" The film offers a new perspective on vampires throughout the ages, as the film's events revolve around the two brothers, Ahmose and Ramses, who are the last vampires to survive a losing war against humans in ancient times. They decide to hide for thousands of years until circumstances force them to reappear and enter into a new confrontation with humans.

The film stars comedic duo Khaled Mansour and Shady Alfons, who co-wrote the film alongside Mahmoud El Far and Mina Khazam. They also star alongside Marwan Younis and Ismail Farghaly, as well as rising stars Malak Badawy, Yara Azmy, Ahmed Talaat, Fares Haddad, and Hany Kandil, with special appearances by Nour Kadry and Lebanese actress Dalida Khalil.

The film is written by Khaled Mansour, Shady Alfons, Mahmoud El Far and Mina Khazam, and produced by Mohamed Abdel Wahab and Mohamed Khair Zaiter from Nile Wood Studios for Film Production, which previously presented the horror film "Ammar", which was screened at the Cairo International Film Festival and is currently showing on Netflix, Shahid, Prime, and Rotana channels. In addition to their participation in the film "Who Believes", which is expected to be screened at the Cairo International Film Festival 2024.

The film was co-produced by United Brothers Studios, Trend VFX, Arabia Pictures, and Media Life, and is being distributed in Egypt by United Brothers Studios and worldwide by Empire.

Karim Abu Zeid is an Egyptian producer and director who started his career in advertising before moving to television. In 2022, he directed his first feature film, “11:11,” starring Jordanian actor Eyad Nassar; the film was released on Netflix and commercially in 10 Arab countries.

Khaled Mansour and Shady Alfons are known for hosting the Arabic version of the satirical comedy show “Saturday Night Live”, in addition to their participation in the Golden Globe-winning international series “Ramy”.
