Aida Riad reveals for the first time the details of her chemotherapy treatment

Egyptian artist Aida Riad said that she was greatly shocked when she suffered a severe health crisis, to the point that she hid her illness for three years, during which time she was receiving chemotherapy doses. She pointed out that she had a close friendship with the nurses at the hospital, which has continued until now, and all the patients at the hospital learned the truth about her illness through these nurses. Despite the severity of her illness, she was laughing, dancing and singing with them and had great hope for recovery.

Aida Riad added during a television interview on the “Hawadeet El Nas” program, presented by the media figure Yomna Badrawi, broadcast on “Al Shams” channel, that she lost her hair, and that moment was the most difficult moment in her life, because she was close to death, but she had great hope.

Aida continued that her treating doctor asked her not to stop working after the first 3 chemotherapy sessions, and at that time he was offering her many jobs, but she refused, and in light of the doctor’s insistence, she agreed at the time to participate in the series “Halet Eshk” with the artist Mai Ezz El-Din.
