Although it was shown 17 years ago, the series "Raya and Sakina" causes a crisis between an author and a director

Although the Egyptian series “ Raya and Sakina ” was shown since 2005, that is, nearly 17 years ago, it caused widespread controversy in Egypt, as the Egyptian scriptwriter Hussein Mustafa Muharram , the son of the scriptwriter Mustafa Muharram , attacked what the director of the series , Gamal Abdel Hamid, said after The latter said that the scenario of “ Raya and Sakina ” when written by Mustafa Muharram did not like him, and he went to the writer Salah Issa ( author of the book Raya and Sakina before turning into a series ) to write it with him from the beginning, and according to the director’s speech, he wrote it himself with the help of “Issa.”

Hussein Mustafa Muharram posted on his Facebook account a video clip in which he said that he usually does not respond to criticism, but he will respond this time because the matter concerns his father.

"Muharram" added that this matter is untrue, stressing that he spoke with producer Jamal Al-Adl, who was shocked by hearing the director's statement, according to "Hussein".

And he directed his speech to the director, Gamal Abdel Hamid, that he had not seen any series of his authorship that succeeded so far, but only succeeded in directing, adding, “ If you think that because of my father’s death, God will not find anyone to respond to you, no, you will find all of Egypt responding to you because all of Egypt loves you.” I live in the robes of my father and Hajj Metwally, and why did you not talk about this while he was living ?

He concluded that he submitted an official complaint to the Syndicate of Film Professions and to Captain Massad Fouda to investigate this statement, stressing, " I will never leave my father's right ."
