Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab issued an official statement responding to the statement issued by music composer Hassan El Shafei regarding her recent crisis.

Regarding her brother, “Mohamed Abdel Wahab,” Sherine said: “He signed the contract without my knowledge through a canceled power of attorney, and what is strangest of all is that the contract was drawn up on the same date the power of attorney was issued, that is, the same day the power of attorney was issued is the day the contract was drawn up. If it indicates something, it indicates In clear bad faith, and what is even worse is that an arbitration clause was placed in the contract itself, and this is not legally permissible, because it requires a special power of attorney with the same clause from that date.”
