Andrea Bocelli ends his year in Abu Dhabi

The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi is organizing a concert by Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli at Emirates Palace on the occasion of the New Year 2025.

Andrea Bocelli Concert Details Bocelli will perform some of his most iconic works at the concert, including Con te Partirò, The Pray and Vivo per lei.

The celebration will also witness a dazzling fireworks display that will light up the skies of Abu Dhabi, in addition to other artistic performances by international artists and DJs.

This is not the first time that Bocelli has met the Emirati audience. This is the seventh time since 2009, and his participation was in the first season of the “Saadiyat Nights” concerts last January.

He suffered from poor eyesight since birth and lost his sight at the age of twelve following an injury while playing football.

Over the course of 27 years, he has worked with world singing giants such as Luciano Pavarotti, Sarah Brightman, and Celine Dion, who said of him, “If God had a singing voice, it would be very similar to Andrea Bocelli’s.”

His famous song "Vivo Per Laie", which means "I Live For Her", became one of the most successful international songs of all time and was translated into several languages.

Bocelli has sung it as a duet with many stars such as Helen Segarra, Marta Sanchez, and Judy Weiss.

He also sang it in Italian, Spanish, French and German, as he was proficient in singing in several languages.

Bocelli also collaborated with the international singer Celine Dion to sing the famous duet "The Prayer".
