Anushka Shetty's Early Life She was named Sweety by her parents at birth and was born in Mangalore, Karnataka. She is an ethnic Tulu descended from a Tulu-speaking Bunt family from the village of Pili Padi in Puttur district of Dakshina Kannada region.
