Art stars mourn producers Hossam Shawky, Fathy Ismail and Mahmoud Kamal

With great sadness and sorrow, art stars mourned the producers Hossam Shawky, Fathy Ismail, and Mahmoud Kamal, and some of them announced mourning and stopping following any artistic works at the present time.

Art stars mourn the deceased producers Artist Amr Saad was keen to mourn Hossam Shawky, Fathy Ismail and Mahmoud Kamal through a post he published on his official Facebook account, in which he said: “To God we belong and to Him we shall return. I declare a general mourning and I will stop any artistic work I am currently filming for a week in mourning for my brother and friend, the great producer Hossam Shawky, after I received the news today of the death of my friends, producers Hossam Shawky, Fathy Ismail and Mahmoud Kamal, as a result of a painful accident. May God have mercy on them all, for He is the Most Merciful. Please pray for them with mercy and forgiveness and that God may make their abode in heaven.”

The artist Khaled El Sawy also mourned the deceased producers with touching words on his official Facebook account, where he said: “With a heart full of pain, we only say what pleases God. The Egyptian and Arab artistic sector has lost three irreplaceable figures in the field of artistic production. We ask you to pray and recite Al-Fatihah, and we ask God Almighty to inspire us with patience and solace in this painful affliction.” The artist returned to publish a touching poem on his Facebook page, which he dedicated to their souls. El Sawy also changed the profile picture on his account, where he put a picture indicating mourning.

Artist Ahmed El Sakka was keen to mourn the deceased producers, as he published a post on his Instagram account that read: “With great sadness and sorrow, I mourn my colleagues, friends, and good-natured sisters, Professor Hossam Shawky, Professor Fathy Ismail, and Professor Mahmoud Kamal.” El Sakka continued in his post: “O God, cover them with your vast mercy, forgiveness, and satisfaction, and let them dwell in your spacious gardens and inspire their families with patience and solace.”

Artist Ahmed Helmy also mourned the deceased, writing on his Instagram account: “To God we belong and to Him we shall return. Pray for mercy and forgiveness for them. O God, grant patience to their families and relatives and inspire them with patience and solace. Very sad news. O God, have mercy on them, O Lord.”

Artist Karim Abdel Aziz also wrote on his Instagram account, mourning the late producers: “With all pain and sadness, I mourn my brothers, friends, and beloved ones, Hossam Shawky, Fathy Ismail, and Mahmoud Kamal. They were an example of manliness and authenticity. May God have mercy on them and give patience to their families and us.”

Actress Laila Elwi posted an obituary for the late producers, saying: “There is no power or strength except with God. This is very painful and difficult news. May God have mercy on them and inspire their families with patience and peace. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.”

Artist Akram Hosny also posted on his Instagram account a post mourning the deceased producers, saying: “Very sad news.. Professor Hossam Shawky, Professor Mahmoud Kamal, and Professor Fathy Ismail have passed away. O God, forgive them and have mercy on them with your vast mercy, O Lord of the worlds.”

Details of the death of Hossam Shawky, Mahmoud Kamal and Fathy Ismail Hossam Shawky , the production manager at Synergy Company, and the company's technical producers, Mahmoud Kamal and Fathy Ismail, were involved in a traffic accident on the Dabaa Road, which led to the death of the three.

Security forces rushed to the scene, determined the cause, and provided first aid to the three producers, but to no avail, as their souls left the earth to their Creator.

It is noteworthy that producer Mahmoud Kamal participated in many of the works of artist Adel Emam, in addition to being the director of the series "Nagi Atallah's Band", and he was the production manager for the series "Al-Araf" and the series "Afareet Adly Allam", and he was the director of the series "Mamoun and Partners", "Saheb Al-Saada" and "Ustaz and Head of Department". He also participated in the series "Darb Nar", "Darbet Moalem", and "Al-Wensh".

As for Hossam Shawky, he is the general supervisor of production at Synergy Company, and according to the Cinema website, he has 64 works so far. He had strong friendships with artists, and his last media appearance was at the Saudi-Egyptian evening party at the Opera House last February, accompanied by artist Karim Abdel Aziz and director Peter Mimi.

In December last year, producer Fathi Ismail started his cinematic journey with the film “Ana w Ibn Khalti” starring Bayoumi Fouad and Sayed Ragab. This is the first film produced by Fathi Ismail and co-produced by Youssef El Taher. It is scheduled to be shown in cinemas in Egypt and the GCC countries on January 4th of next year.
