Assala lights up Shaqraa on the 95th Saudi National Day

On Wednesday evening, September 24, 2025, Syrian artist Asala performed a concert in Shaqra, Saudi Arabia, as part of the 95th National Day celebrations. The concert witnessed a remarkable turnout and a special atmosphere, making the evening an exceptional moment for her fans.

Assala began the concert with spontaneous words full of admiration for the blonde and her family, saying: “What an amazing blonde! What wonderful people!” amidst great interaction from the audience, who responded to her words with applause and cheers. During the evening, she performed a selection of her most famous songs, ranging from new to old, including: Yamir Wa Ma Yuslam, Aqaba, Fawq, and Kan Yahimni. The audience interacted remarkably, singing along with her in more than one section, which prompted her to fulfill most of the audience's song requests on stage.

The ceremony was also attended by Salem Al Hindi, CEO of Rotana Music Group, who was keen to greet Assala amidst the audience's warm welcome. Prior to the concert, the artist revealed the special nature of this evening, noting that her artistic program reflects the Saudi influence on her artistic career. This is Assala's second concert as part of the Saudi National Day celebrations. She previously performed with Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad in a public concert at Marassi Village on Egypt's North Coast on Saturday, September 20. Together, they performed their famous song "The Reason for My Joy", along with a selection of her most famous songs, such as "Shukran" and "Bint Akaber."
