Ayed named Best Saudi Artist at DAF BAMA Music Awards 2025

In a new achievement to add to his illustrious artistic career, Saudi artist Ayed was crowned Best Saudi Artist of 2025 at the DAF BAMA Music Awards ceremony held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

After receiving the award, Ayed set the mood with his rendition of “Lamah,” which had previously won Best Khaleeji Song of 2024 at the Billboard Arabia Awards in Riyadh. The song, written by Fares Fayeh and composed by Rakan, received a great response from the audience at the ceremony, reaffirming Ayed’s ability to combine artistic sensibility with a masterful live performance. His appearance at this global event has once again highlighted the song, which has become one of his most prominent works over the past two years.

Coinciding with his win in Germany, Ayed released the first part of his new album, “Ayed 2025,” which includes seven songs that reflect his artistic diversity and collaborations with a group of prominent names in poetry, composition, and arrangement. With music by Yasser Bouali and Rakan, lyrics by Fahad Al-Musaed and Qaws, and musical arrangement by Omar Sabbagh and Michel Fadel, the album offers a rich blend of modern Gulf musical styles. New songs, such as “Salam,” “Takhayal Law,” and “Atazer Wa Ajik,” confirm Ayed’s artistic maturity and cement his presence as one of the most prominent voices of the new generation in Gulf music.
