It is worth noting that filming of the work was supposed to begin last year, but filming was delayed due to some circumstances after a complete plan was prepared to film the work in Beirut. Then the plan changed to filming the work in the Turkish capital, Istanbul, with the possibility of filming some external scenes in Beirut in The beginning of next June.

This work is considered the second participation of artist Basil Khayyat in Arabized Turkish works after his participation in the series The Price .

The story of the Ezel series The work takes place within a framework of action and excitement, as the Turkish version of it was shown for the first time in 2009, and it is adapted from the French novel “The Count of Monte Cristo” by Alexandre Demas.

The series tells the story of the young man “ Ezel ” who returns to take revenge on his friends after they betrayed him. This work is considered one of the most important and popular Turkish series and was also shown on the Netflix platform.

Until now, the actress who will play the female lead role alongside Basil Khayyat has not been decided.
