Bassem Moughnieh reveals details of his character in "By Blood"

After his two-year absence from the Ramadan drama season, artist Basem Mughniyeh is participating in this year’s Ramadan season through the series “Baldam”

Mughniyeh plays a new and different role in the work, which is the role of a man named Walid who has a kind and impulsive personality, but he suffers from a problem in his marital life and cannot find a solution for it.

Reasons for choosing this role

Mughniyeh said in press statements that what made him agree to participate was the presence of complete elements, starting with the professional actors for the importance of his role, the good script and the brilliance of the story by Nadine Jaber, and the story that revolves around family, relatives, blood ties and social problems, and the production company Eagle Films. All of these factors pushed him to agree.

Working conditions

Mughniyeh also talked about the filming conditions, revealing that the filming took place under very difficult circumstances during the last war on Lebanon, but despite that, he focused a lot on his role during filming to present the work faithfully.

Mughniyeh considered that most of the duos that brought him together previously with others in acting were harmonious, including Maguy Bou Ghosn in the movie “The Second Lady,” and the series “Death,” with whom he achieved a distinct success, and Carole Hajj in the series “Yasmina,” and Dalida Khalil in the series “Aswad.”

Mughniyeh also mentioned his participation with the Egyptian actress Nadia El Gendy in the series “Queen Nazli”, as well as the actress Nabila Obeid when he was a guest of honor in the series “Sugar Ziyada”, and the Gulf actress Huda Hussein in the series “The Haunted House” and others. He is proud of those duos, and he benefited greatly from those experiences, and they were all successful, according to him.

For example, the role of “Omar” that he played in the series “Death” was in which he embodied more than one character in one character, and despite its difficulty and complexities, he did not take it home with him.
