Best Festival honors the brightest stars

Al Manara Conference Center in the Fifth Settlement witnessed the award ceremony of the “Best” Festival last Friday evening, which is organized by the “Washwasha” Media Group under the sponsorship of “Al Nahar” TV.

Artist Ahmed El Sakka, producer Tarek El Genainy, and artist Nour El Nabawy shone on the red carpet, alongside star Hamada Helal, artist Nermin El Feki, festival singer Kozbora, and the great artist Samira Ahmed.

The ceremony was also attended by the artist Bushra, the star Ahmed Ghazy, and the artist Ahmed El Awady, in addition to the media figure Sherif Amer, the star Nadia El Gendy, and the media figure Tamer Amin. The artist Medhat Saleh, the media figures Ahmed Shobeir and Sherif Madkour, and the great artist Mimi Gamal, added more brilliance to the event.

As for the artist Islam Ibrahim, the composer Aziz El Shafei, the artist Dina Fouad, the artist Ehab Tawfik, and the great artist Mahmoud Qabil, they added a special touch to the atmosphere of the concert, which combined creativity and stardom in an exceptional and unforgettable night.

Honoring the most prominent stars in the tenth session of the “Best” Festival: In recognition of an exceptional artistic career spanning more than five decades, the great artist Yehia El-Fakharany was honored with the “Lifetime Achievement” award at the tenth session of the “Best” Festival. El-Fakharany presented more than 70 works during his career, including radio and television series, more than 30 films, and 15 theatrical works, in which he was able to combine popular success with critical acclaim, to become an immortal symbol in the conscience of the Egyptian and Arab public.

The star Ahmed El Sakka received the "Golden Star" award amidst wide acclaim. The award was presented to him by Alaa El Kahky, head of Al Nahar channels, and Soheir Gouda, general supervisor of the Waswasha Media Group, in addition to the honorary president of the festival, Mahmoud Qabil.

Artist Khaled El Sawy won the “Artistic Creativity” award, in honor of his influential roles and great contributions to enriching Arab art with works that carry meaningful messages. Star Ahmed El Awady was able to win a special award after his distinguished success in the Ramadan 2024 season, as the victory was based on the public vote and the support of the jury, confirming his position as one of the most prominent stars of drama.

Artist Hamada Helal received the “Artistic Creativity” award in honor of his successful artistic career. He received the award himself amidst warm applause from the audience, who expressed their great admiration for the distinguished works he presented.

The festival honored artist Medhat Saleh with the “Artistic Creativity” award, while artist Ehab Tawfik received a special honor in appreciation of his long career that influenced the music scene, as both expressed their gratitude for this special celebration.

Saudi actor Fayez Bin Jaris won the award for “Best Comedic Actor in Arab Drama” for his outstanding performance in the series “Spider House”, proving his excellence in the field of comedy.

The great artist Samira Ahmed received the “Lifetime Achievement” award, amidst great applause from the audience who confirmed her worthiness of this honor. The festival also honored the great star Nadia El-Gendy in appreciation of her long career that brought about a qualitative shift in cinema, and won exceptional popular titles.

Actress Dina Fouad received a special honor for her remarkable performance in the series “Haq Arab,” which received wide public acclaim during the past month of Ramadan.

The “Best” Festival launched the “Lifetime Achievement” Award, sponsored by Al Nahar TV Network, to honor figures who have left a distinctive mark in their field, whether in art or media, making it a platform to celebrate leadership and creativity.

The jury consists of a group of the most prominent names in the fields of art and media, including director Omar Abdel Aziz, screenwriter Medhat El Adl, musician Yehia El Mougy, and media figure Suzanne Hassan, which reflects diversity and experience that guarantees a well-deserved selection of winners.
