She explained that what she went through wasn't just a fluctuation, but rather the result of profound psychological and spiritual struggles that forced her to navigate crucial decisions like wearing the hijab, then abandoning it, and then returning to it again.

With a look of emotion, Hala described the period she lived through as a “major trial,” emphasizing that when fear takes hold of a person, it makes them lose their balance and ability to see things clearly. In the video, she said, “Anyone who is overcome by fear loses their balance… Things they once saw as being above, they now see as being below.” She added that this feeling turned her life upside down, despite her constant attempts to cling to her faith.

Her love for her children caused a severe psychological setback. Hala noted that her intense attachment to her children contributed to her spiritual weakness, emphasizing that despite her commitment to worship, she experienced a difficult psychological setback: “I loved God and was close to Him, but when fear overcame me and my love for my children increased, I suffered a severe setback.” She explained that this period was far from easy, and that it seemed to her as if the entire world had turned into darkness.
