Beyoncé's fans witnessed a terrifying moment when she suffered a sudden breakdown while performing her song "16 Carriages" inside a car suspended in the air during her first concert of her Cowboy Carter tour in Houston at NRG Stadium.

During the incident, Beyoncé was heard saying into the microphone: "Stop, stop, stop, stop," and the music stopped immediately, while she remained suspended in the air, looking down and then up, before smiling at the audience, who interacted with her by clapping and cheering.

Videos on TikTok showed the moment the red convertible with Beyoncé in it swerved dangerously into the air, as the star held on to a wire attached to the car while wearing a seatbelt to keep her balance.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the car stopped moving mid-song, and after it was removed, Beyoncé left the stage briefly before returning and completing the show, according to Hot New Hip Hop.

A video clip then went viral on the X stage, showing Beyoncé reassuring her fans, saying, "If I ever fall, I know you'll catch me," to warm applause. Moments later, she thanked the audience, saying, "Thank you for your patience." The car was then slowly lowered to the center of the stage, where it stopped leaning, and the star returned to her original position, continuing to smile at the audience as the lights were dimmed.
