Yesterday evening, businesswoman and tourism expert Merit Rahmy, daughter of Counselor Wahid Rahmy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sunny Days Hotel Group in the Red Sea, passed away.

You have broken our hearts. May God have mercy on you.”

The artist Zeina Reda also mourned her late friend with touching words on her Instagram account, where she wrote: “There is no god but God, and there is no power or strength except with God. Patience comes from you, O Lord. Goodbye, Merit. I will miss you, my kind and generous lady. Please pray for her mercy and forgiveness and recite Al-Fatihah. O Lord, grant patience to your children, your family, and all your loved ones.”

Zeina continued in her post: “O God, forgive her, have mercy on her, pardon her, and honor her place of rest, widen her entrance, wash her with water, snow, and hail, and purify her from sins as a white garment is purified from filth, and replace her home with a better home, her family with a better family, and her husband with a better husband, and admit her into Paradise, and protect her from the torment of the grave and the torment of Hellfire.”

Burial date and funeral details for Merit Rahmi The artist, Nisreen Imam, published a story on her Instagram account, mourning the deceased and announcing the funeral details, where she wrote: “To God we belong and to Him we shall return. Merit, my dear friend, has passed away to the mercy of God. The funeral prayer will be held on Saturday, August 3, after the afternoon prayer at the Police Mosque in October. In heaven, God willing, Merit.”
