Buthaina Al Raisi and Hussein Al Raisi behind the scenes of "Sedaf"

The duo Hussein Al Mahdi and Buthaina Al Raisi will be present in the upcoming Ramadan drama season 2025 in a series titled “Sadf”, written and directed by Muhammad Anwar Muhammad.

Buthaina Al Raisi announced the series through a behind-the-scenes video clip that she posted on her Instagram account, with Hussein Al Mahdi, commenting: “When you interrupt people in the middle of their conversations, and you go from one thing to another; know, my dear, that you have grown old and you are now in your forties, but you want the truth. The best age after forty is everyone who forgets and you do not care about anything except your peace of mind. What do you think?”

It is noteworthy that Buthaina Al Raisi participated in the play "Cowboy", which is a musical show, directed by Saud Bou Obaid, and written by Fatima Al Amer. She also participated in two dramatic works in Ramadan 2023, namely "House 12" and "Qarat Ainak".

As for the artist Hussein Al Mahdi, his series “Sadf” is currently being shown. It is a Kuwaiti suspense series that revolves around a young woman who suffers from a psychological disorder, which makes her not convinced that her sister committed suicide. She begins a journey to search for the truth with the help of a professional investigator, in a framework full of mystery and excitement.

A large number of stars participate in the series, including: Rawan Mahdi, Abrar Abu Yousef, Abdullah Al Balushi, Rawan Al Ali, Kifah Rajib, Yasmine Al Anzi, the child Eileen, Issa Al Mulla, Abdullah Al Turkmani, and Fahd Bassem. The series is directed by Manaf Abdul and written by Ammar Boushahin.
