Cairo, its streets and alleys fascinated him, and he began telling its story during walks to connect people with the history of the city in which they live. Then, the initiative produced several documentaries under the title “From Its Prosperous Paths” that tell the stories of the city, its neighborhoods and alleys. The latest of these was the film “Majadheeb Al-Qarafa”, which tells the history of Cairo’s cemeteries and the diverse and rich Egyptian heritage they carry.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The initiative also participated in Cairo Urban Week, organized by the United Nations to preserve the heritage of cities, with four documentaries that were screened at Zawya Cinema in downtown Cairo: “Al-Rukbeya,” “Al-Helmeya,” “Darb Qormoz,” and “Mahrousa Ya Qahera.”</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The film “Memory of Stone: Living Ruins in the Folds of the City” also participated in the third Cairo Short Film Festival, and the film “Crimson Path”, one of the films in the “From Its Prosperous Paths” series, also participated in the fourth Cairo International Short Film Festival in the documentary film competition. </p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:1200/1600;" src="https://cdn.sbisiali.com/news/images/6218c9a3-a6b5-4ef4-a96f-a03e2fc2fbbd.jpeg" ></figure>
