Celebrities postpone their concerts in memory of the earthquake victims

After the tragic accident that hit Syria and Turkey, several stars postponed their concerts to mourn the souls of the earthquake victims.

The organizer of Maya Diab's Valentine's Day party, which was scheduled to take place on February 14, 2023 at the Rixos Premium Hotel Dubai, announced that it has been postponed in mourning and out of respect for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

Hani Shaker was also scheduled to perform a concert in Syria on the occasion of Valentine's Day on February 13, but after the earthquake that occurred, he decided to postpone his concert to another time to be determined later.

Hani Shaker shared a video on his Instagram page, in which he said: "My sincere condolences to the brotherly and beloved people of Syria for the death of its martyrs, who died as a result of the earthquake, and all good wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured and wounded."

"Of course, as a result of the circumstances that Syria is going through, my friends and colleagues decided, united by the ceremony that was to be held on Valentine's Day, that we will postpone it to another time, God willing, very soon," said Hani Sharek in his message to the Syrian people, and continued, "All our wishes to the beloved Syrian people for a long life." Security and safety, and I will always see you well, God willing.”

He concluded by saying: "May God protect Syria, Egypt and all our Arab countries." Hani commented on the video, writing: "Postponing the Valentine's Day party to a later date ... in mourning for the earthquake victims."

The artist, Ali Al-Deek, also announced the cancellation of all Valentine's Day concerts that he was performing between Germany and Lebanon.

The same with the artist Hossam al-Rassam, who wrote: "Out of respect for the souls of the victims who fell victim to the devastating earthquake that struck our region and the sanctity of these days, it was decided to postpone the ceremony until next month."

Hadi Al-Aswad wrote on Instagram, "Syria is in pain. I apologize to all the fans in Canada. I will postpone the Valentine's Day parties out of respect for my country, Syria, and for Aleppo, Idlib and Lattakia in particular. Hopefully, we will be united and help those affected by this disaster."

The organizing company, "Spotlight Live", also announced on its Instagram page the news of the postponement, "Given the tragic conditions and suffering experienced by the brothers in Syria, it was decided to postpone the concert of the artist Nassif Zaytoun and the artist Rahma Riyad to a later date."
