Dalia Mostafa reveals that she has diabetes

Egyptian artist Dalia Mostafa revealed that she suffers from diabetes, explaining that she wears a sensor that appears on her hands and is not ashamed of this matter.

Dalia Mostafa appeared in a video on her Instagram account to talk about the device, stressing that she is not advertising it, but this is to raise awareness among people.

Egyptian artist Dalia Mostafa said in the video: “I was uploading a picture of me and my sister, and I was wearing this device, a “sensor” for sugar. This is a diabetes device, because there are people who did not understand exactly what device this is. After I uploaded the picture, I was taking a normal picture. Many mothers. People who organized exhibitions and sugar needs sent me a lot of encouragement and were very happy that I was wearing it and not covered. Mothers told me, “Thank you. You came out normally with this look and this device. It made our children confident that they could wear it and not be covered at all.”

Dalia Mostafa about bullying Dalia Mustafa continued : “We may not have this awareness that there is no need for bullying if there is bullying. I see that children or even women who remain uncovered will wear this device if they are wearing half sleeves. By the way, it makes no difference. It does not matter what anyone’s opinion of me is. I am comfortable with this device.” This gave me great comfort. Before that, my diabetes was difficult to reach 8, and diabetics would understand what this means, something that is not nice. I used to hate shakshaka, something that bothered me, and I would have left it like this, and it had complications that were not nice.”

Dalia Mustafa continued: “Suddenly, I went to a great doctor and he told me about a device, and I told him that I heard that it came out a few years ago, but not in Egypt. He said, ‘No, it exists,’ and in fact, I installed it. It is more than a huge device that measures sugar like a graph. When it is high, I take insulin, and when it is low.” I need to warn you so I will take something. I am not making an advertisement, and by the way, I do not know what brand this device is. I am telling you, and I encourage any woman, male or female, who has diabetes, not to worry about anyone. Everyone is busy with their own affairs, so do not think about anything, and only think about yourself, and may God heal us all.”
