Dana El Helani stirs up controversy by wearing her mother's dress in Piaf

Lebanese chef Dana El-Hellani, daughter of the artist Assi El-Hellani, sparked controversy when she re-weared her mother Colette El-Hellani’s dress, 15 years after the latter had worn it.

The presence of the Helani family in Piaf Dana was present with her now fiancé, Saad, her sister Marita, and the latter’s husband, Camille Abi Khalil, at the “Piaf” Festival 2024, which took place last Sunday night in Beirut, in order to attend the tribute to her father, the artist Assi El-Hellani, and her brother, Al-Waleed El-Hellani.

Dana Al-Helani also documented the moment of honoring her father, Assi, who thanked Piaf for honoring him for the second time, as she commented on the video by saying: I am proud of you forever. In turn, Al-Waleed expressed his happiness at receiving the award in his country, Lebanon, and then appeared standing between Dana and Marietta, while taking some souvenir photos.
