The Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and Cultural Animation's courses aim to prepare specialists in the field of theatrical arts and cultural animation, qualified to work in the audiovisual sector, the Ministry of Culture, theatre, cinema, television, and the private sector, on the one hand, and to be deeply rooted in Moroccan civilisation while ensuring the advancement of science and technology in their relationship to the performing arts, on the other hand.

Eligibility and acceptance requirements The candidate must be:

Holder of a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Age between 17 and 24 years. The candidate is required to submit, among the required documents for nomination, an artistic or literary portfolio of attempts in writing, drawing, sculpture, animation practice, etc. Candidates selected by the committee will be called to take the entrance exam according to an agenda announced on the Ministry of Culture's website.

The nomination competition includes three stages: First stage Interview with the candidate by the selection committee

The second stage Create a general topic Translate text from Arabic to French Analyze a paragraph from a theatrical text A short scene from international or Moroccan theatre prepared by the candidate.

Stage 3 A training course for candidates who excel in the second phase, after which the successful candidates in the institute's admission exam are announced. Application files must be submitted within the deadlines specified by the institute in an announcement issued annually on its official website. Application files arriving after the deadline or missing any of the aforementioned documents will not be considered.

This program is crowned by a doctoral degree. This period may be extended exceptionally for one or two years at most.

The Institute provides basic and continuing education, as well as scientific, artistic, and technical research in the fields of theater, performance arts, acting, directing, theatrical writing, criticism, stage techniques, scenography, set design, costumes and makeup, stage preservation, lighting and sound techniques, and related fields.

The training at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and Cultural Animation aims to prepare specialists in the field of theatrical arts and cultural animation, qualified to work in the audiovisual sector, the Ministry of Culture, local authorities, theatre, cinema, the private sector, etc.

Note: The institute's system is external, and registered students are responsible for finding housing.

1- Formation The training at the institute is organized into departments, tracks and units.

The Institute prepares and delivers the following national certificates:

Basic diploma; Bachelor of Basic Studies; Professional leave; Master; specialized master; PhD.
