In an interview full of bold statements and honest feelings, Egyptian star Dina El-Sherbiny was a guest of Emirati media figure Anas Bukhash in the first episode of his program during the month of Ramadan. Dina spoke frankly about her love life, the loss of her parents, and the rumors that linked her to the program’s host, in addition to new details about her youth.

Her breakup with her ex-boyfriend

Dina El-Sherbiny surprised her fans by revealing the end of the love story she announced in 2024, explaining that she did not reach an official engagement, but she still maintains a strong friendship with that person.

Dina said: “I was in a relationship, and then it didn’t work out, but for me, this person is one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life, if not the best. There’s mutual respect between us, and I love him very much, and he was supportive of me when my parents passed away.”

Her suffering after losing her father and mother

Dina talked about the difficult period she lived through after her father's sudden death due to blood poisoning, noting that she entered a state of denial that lasted for three hours, and she did not understand the situation until she hugged him and he did not hug her back.

She added: “Two weeks after my father’s death, I had a stroke due to the oppression and suppression of grief, especially since my mother was sick with cancer at the time, and I did not want to increase her suffering by showing my collapse, but she passed away only five months later.”

She concluded her speech by saying: “I regret it because there were so many moments I could have spent with my parents, and although my relationship with them was very strong, I needed to give them more time and attention.”

The truth about her relationship with Anas Bukhash

Dina commented on the rumors that spread about her relationship with Anas Bukhash, which she completely denied, saying jokingly: “The Egyptians were so happy when it was said that we got engaged!”

She added: “I love Anas very much, but we are just friends, and when I talked about my previous relationship, I said that it was with someone outside the artistic community, to confirm to everyone that he is not Anas.”

For his part, Anas Bukhash expressed his surprise at this rumor, explaining that he had only met Dina twice before attending the special screening of the movie “Shako”, which was the reason for the spread of news about their relationship.

Bukhash said: “I wasn’t planning to attend the show, but the artist Yousra invited me, so I went, and then I was surprised that my name was linked to Dina.”

Engaged at 19 and dreaming of motherhood

During the interview, Dina revealed her great love for marriage and family atmosphere, noting that she was engaged when she was nineteen years old.

She added enthusiastically: “I wish I had 6 children!”
