Egyptian director Omar Abdel Aziz became the talk of the public, after he announced his marriage at the age of seventy, to a woman from outside the artistic community, named Amani Safwat, in a small ceremony in the presence of a number of his friends and some stars.

Who is director Omar Abdel Aziz? 1. Brother of director Mohamed Abdel Aziz, and uncle of artist Karim Abdel Aziz .

4. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Directing Department, in 1976 with a very good grade.

He began his career as an assistant director to his brother, director Mohamed Abdel Aziz, in films such as: “The World of Eyal Eyal” and “Some Go to the Authorized Person Twice.” Then he directed his first film, which was “A Very Special Invitation” in 1982, and in 2002 he turned to directing. TV series “Between Shatin and Mayh”.

6. Among the most important films he directed was “The Apartment is the Wife’s Right” in 1985, starring Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, His Excellency Zayed, and Naima Al-Saghir.
