The award categories varied between “Single Book”, which celebrates distinguished works in various fields of knowledge, and “Achievement”, which honors the owners of long-term knowledge projects, whether they are individuals or institutions.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Honoring thinkers and institutions </p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:400/225;" src="https://cdn.sbisiali.com/news/images/45eaf20a-eb4e-44e1-aa21-2d85e79b89a1.jpg" ></figure><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> In the “Individual Achievement” category, three prominent Arab thinkers were honored: Ramzi Baalbaki, Professor of Arabic Studies at the American University of Beirut; Ibrahim Al-Qadri Boutchich, a distinguished Moroccan historian; and Ahmed Al-Mutawakil, a Moroccan academic and linguist. These scholars were distinguished by their valuable contributions to enriching the Arab library with their original and distinguished works. As for the “Institutional Achievement” category, three prestigious institutions were honored: “Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Manea Chair for Arabic Language and Literature Studies” at King Saud University; “The Institute of Arabic Manuscripts” affiliated with the League of Arab States; and “Al-Kitab Al-Jadeed Al-Muttahida” House in Beirut. These institutions were distinguished by their active role in serving Arab culture and spreading knowledge, through supporting scientific research and encouraging authorship and publishing.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The book excelled in various fields. </p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:416/270;" src="https://cdn.sbisiali.com/news/images/ccee0f5d-0873-476d-9b13-48b74edbf574.jpg" ></figure><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> In the “Single Book” category, a number of writers excelled in various fields of knowledge, as Abdel Rahman Boudraa won first place in the field of “Linguistic and Literary Studies” for his book “The Rhetoric of Contrast in Discourse Construction: Issues and Models”, while Mohamed Abdel Wadoud Abghash won second place for his book “Unrealistic Conditional Structures: A Cognitive Linguistic Approach”, and Mohamed Galim came in third place for his book “Language between the Faculties of the Mind: A Study in Cognitive Engineering”. In the field of “Historical Studies”, Hafez Abdouli won first place for his book “From Tripolitania to Tripoli: The Urban Landscape during the Advanced Middle Ages between Communication and Transformations”, and Younes Al-Morabit won second place for his book “The Conquest of Andalusia in Contemporary Spanish Orientalism between Denial and Affirmation”.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> In the field of “Sharia Sciences and Islamic Studies”, Al-Hassan Shahid won second place for his book “Al-Shafi’i’s Epistle on Context, Methodology and Discourse: A Study in the Theory of Fundamentalist Knowledge”, while in the field of “Social and Philosophical Studies”, Abdelkader Merzak, Mohamed Al-Sadiqi, Abdelrazzaq Belagrouz and Youssef Tibes excelled, as they won advanced positions for their works in the fields of sociology and philosophy.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Praising the importance of the award and its role </p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:1200/782;" src="https://cdn.sbisiali.com/news/images/5d4562bd-5666-4852-90aa-310f99d83e5f.jpg" ></figure><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Participants in the ceremony praised the importance of the “Arab Book Award” in supporting the Arab book and encouraging intellectual creativity, stressing its role in enriching the Arab library with distinguished works in various fields of knowledge.
