Moroccan actress Donia Batma has started promoting her first acting experience in the cinema world through the film “The Pose.” She announced via her official Instagram account that the pre-premiere will be held on April 29th at the Megarama Cinema in Casablanca. She posted the promotional poster for the film, commenting: “My beloved fans, I proudly share with you the screening date of my film “The Pose.” Our appointment is on May 7th to discover this adventure together.”

"The Pose" marks Dounia Batma's first foray into the world of cinema, where she plays a role that combines social, romantic, and musical aspects. Directed by Demna Bounailat and produced by Aziz El Omari, Batma expressed her excitement about this step, saying it's a new and different experience that she hopes will impress her fans, who have always supported her since the beginning of her artistic career.

A diverse technical crew and a postponement linked to Batma's release from prison

The film features a group of prominent names in the Moroccan art scene, including Mourad Al-Ashhabi, Abdullah Ferkous, Fadhila Benmoussa, comedian Hamaka, and Naima Bouhamala, alongside the stars of the series "Forgive Me," Mourad Altinshk and Mourad Danaj. Batma's sister, Ibtissam Batma, also appears as a guest star in the film. "The Posse" was originally scheduled to be released in November 2024, but the producer decided to postpone it in coordination with Batma's family to coincide with her release from prison, a move aimed at reintroducing her to the public at a time that carries both a personal and artistic dimension.
