Dubai Fitness Challenge concludes with running challenge

With the conclusion of the eighth edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, 4 major sporting events are held in addition to the “Fitness for All” event. The Dubai Run Challenge leads these events, as it is one of the largest community running events in the world.

Zayed Charity Race kicks off The 23rd edition of the Zayed Charity Race kicked off today at the Abu Dhabi Legacy Hotel, with the participation of nearly 12,000 male and female contestants from citizens and residents of different age groups. The total prizes amounted to 1.5 million dirhams, under the patronage of the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Yas bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended part of the event and launched the starting signal for the 10-kilometre race for people of determination, in the presence of the Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, Lieutenant General / Responsible / Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi, amidst an enthusiastic atmosphere from the participants.

Dubai Fitness Challenge Final Week Schedule The final week of the Dubai Fitness Challenge also includes the Tomorrow Cycling Challenge, an exciting cycling event taking place today from 6:15am, and taking place on two tracks, the first of which extends over 4km, ideal for families and children, and the other, which extends over 14km through Dubai Academic City, is dedicated to professional cyclists.

The closing programme of the Dubai Fitness Challenge will include the Emirates Dubai Grand Prix, which will provide an exciting atmosphere for sailing enthusiasts, as 11 teams of professional athletes will compete with their advanced sailing boats in the high-speed F50 races that will be held at Port Rashid today and tomorrow.

Concert on the sidelines of the race On the sidelines of the race, a concert featuring international stars Craig David and Tinie Tempah will be held at the Premium Waterfront Lounge, sponsored by Nikki Beach Dubai, in addition to providing a diverse menu of delicious food options, family entertainment activities, various fan experiences, and F50 racing simulator sessions.

Coinciding with the conclusion of the eighth edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycling Challenge returns with preparatory rounds scheduled to start tomorrow, Sunday, in preparation for one of the most prominent cycling races anticipated in the region.
