According to a statement from the Dubai Public Prosecution, Rawan Bin Hussain was arrested in a drunken state and appeared “abnormal” in a public place, where she caused a riot and verbally and physically assaulted members of the Dubai Police while they were performing their duties. Accordingly, her case was referred to the Criminal Court on charges related to causing a riot, assaulting security personnel, and consuming alcohol.
