The heroes of the movie “People of the Cave” celebrated its special screening in one of the 6th of October City cinemas, which will compete during the Eid al-Adha season, where the following were attended by: Khaled El Nabawy, Sabri Fawaz, Hager Ahmed, and director Amr Arafa.

The star, Nour El Nabawy, was keen to attend the special screening of the film to support his father, the star Khaled El Nabawy.

The story of the movie "People of the Cave" The movie People of the Cave is based on a four-chapter theatrical novel of the same name by Tawfiq al-Hakim. The events of the novel take place when 3 people wake up inside a cave after 300 years of sleep. They are the ministers “Mishlinia” and “Marnoush,” fleeing from the oppression of King “Dekyanos,” and the third of them is The shepherd “Yamlikha” and his dog “Qamatir”.

The three return to the kingdom and are confronted by the changing form of life among the people and within the palace. They enter into a struggle with a feeling of loneliness due to the lack of anything linking them to their previous life, and their inability to accept life in its new form, so their decision is to return again to the cave to await death.

The promotional advertisement conveyed the atmosphere of battles and military conflicts, and also revealed a love story amidst these conflicts. Two stars appeared in the promotional video: Khaled El Nabawy and Mohamed Mamdouh. Both were military commanders with excellent reputations on the battlefield, and Mustafa Fahmy used them to achieve his goal of world domination.
