Emirates Creativity organizes the Sea Culture Creative Art Forum

On the occasion of the UAE's 54th National Day celebrations, the Emirates Creativity Society is organizing the "Marine Culture Creative Fine Arts Forum" from December 2 to 3, 2025. The event will feature a selection of UAE national and resident fine artists, in an open artistic atmosphere that embodies the spirit of the UAE's marine environment.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Emirates Creative Society, emphasized that this forum represents a new direction in organizing artistic events. The Society has decided to move visual art exhibitions from closed halls to open spaces near the sea, in a visual harmony that combines art, environment, and culture. He added, "We seek to break stereotypes and create creative spaces that express the UAE's identity, culture, and authentic maritime history, highlighting the aesthetics of visual art through elements of nature, the sea, and light."

Sheikh Khalid Al Qasimi pointed out that organizing the forum at this time is a message of loyalty to the nation's symbols and a tribute to those who contributed to its renaissance. It also embodies feelings of pride and honor in the union's journey, the foundations of which were laid by the founders, and reinforces national values in the hearts of the new generations.

He explained that the participating artists will present works that express humanity's relationship with the sea, embody the features of the coastal environment, and contribute to enhancing aesthetic and artistic awareness among the public. He noted that through this initiative, the association seeks to revive the creative spirit in public spaces and transform them into an open exhibition that is in harmony with the national occasion.

The forum will witness direct interaction between the public and the artists, giving attendees the opportunity to observe live drawing and sculpture, using unconventional methods that rely on immediate inspiration and draw their themes from the vocabulary and uniqueness of the UAE's sea. The works on display will range from painting, sculpture, ceramics, and other mediums, reflecting the richness of the local art scene.
