The Omar Effendi series continues to top the Google search engine trend in Egypt and some Arab countries, as it succeeded in attracting the audience since the first episode by presenting the idea of time travel in an innovative way, and episode 5 of the Omar Effendi series is currently topping the Google trend after its airing.

Details of episode 5 of Omar Effendi series The series Omar Effendi, Episode 5, witnesses several events, including Omar (Ahmed Hatem) falling in love with Zeinat (Aya Samaha) when he returns in time to the year 1943, after entering a crypt in his father’s room.

Omar also tries to pay off Dalal's (Rania Youssef) debts, after she had borrowed them from Saleh Abaza (Mahmoud Hafez), who fails to pay them back, and because of that, he proposes to her and takes over her hotel.

During the events, Omar discovers the fraud he was subjected to; some people deceived him by making him believe that a gram of gold in the 1940s was worth twenty piasters, but when he returns to the present era and searches the newspaper archives, he discovers that a gram of gold is worth more than three hundred piasters.

Diasti (Mustafa Abu Sarea) continues to pursue Omar in order to join the Egyptian front to fight the British occupation, and the events take place in a comedic context between them.
