As the followers were greatly influenced by the characters of the work and their verbal refrains, and the words of the heroes of the work became on every tongue in the Syrian and Arab street.

Criticism of the Badia Boys series Despite the great popularity of the work and the influence of its followers, it received some criticism criticizing the way Syrian society is presented and the violence that appears in the series, starting with the scene of the hanging of cats that appeared in the first episodes of the series, as well as scenes of severe and aggressive beatings, scenes of mass massacres, armed robberies and kidnappings. All of this left many question marks.

However, the Syrian artist Abed Fahd considered that this method may not be effective, pointing out that hope can change the negative reality, and that there are those in Syria who call for goodness and resist violence.

Abed Fahd also stressed that the reality in Syria was not violent in the past, but rather became so after the war, and that the solution lies in adherence to morals and human values.

But despite the criticism directed at the work, the series “Walad Badia” still achieves high viewership rates and great interaction from the audience.
