Actor Eyad Nassar revealed the behind-the-scenes details of his participation in the series “Muawiyah,” in which he plays the role of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib.

During an interview with the "Tafa'alkom" program, Nassar said that he was nominated to participate in the lead role two years before production, as he received a call from one of the officials at the production company, who informed him that they were in the process of producing the series "Muawiyah."

He also added that he was nominated to play the role of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, and his eyes sparkled at that moment, and he was very excited about the work.

Nassar explained that he was very afraid of the responsibility of embodying the character of Imam Ali, so he studied the subject extensively before agreeing to it.
