Two years after the film was shown, in a radio interview, artist Eyad Nassar expressed his opinion on the controversy that arose after the film “Friends but Not Dear” was shown.

Eyad Nassar: "We are not evil" Nassar said: “I don’t know why Netflix asked us not to speak up. This wasted a great opportunity for us to speak up, and I didn’t like that. They were all insisting that we not speak up, and I felt that they were benefiting and liked and benefited from positive and negative talk.
