First trailer for Amsterdam 2 released

Dutch sales agency Incredible has announced the first trailer for the highly anticipated Amsterdam 2, a sequel to Dick Maas's 1988 crime thriller Amsterdam.

Movie Story Amsterdam 2 is a new return to the world of murder and mystery on the famous Amsterdam canals, as director Dick Maas re-presents a new story that mixes elements of horror and crime, while maintaining his distinctive style that made the first film so popular.

The film takes place 37 years after the first film, when a new wave of horrific crimes appears on the same channels.

Movie heroes The work stars actress Holly Mae Broad, who plays the role of Detective Tara Lee, who decides to return to investigating old cases, which makes her seek help from retired Detective Eric Visser, played by Hope Staple, as the duo becomes involved in a confrontation with an opponent with supernatural powers.

Production and cooperation The film is a collaboration between several production companies, with 2CFILM, Parachute Pictures and Guess Who from the Netherlands, and Potemkino from Belgium, co-producing the film. Incredible Films has acquired the worldwide distribution rights for the film, while Splendid Film has acquired the Benelux and GAS distribution rights.
