Arjun Kapoor is an Indian actor in Bollywood films, born on June 26, 1985 in Mumbai, India. He is the son of film producer Boney Kapoor, after working as an assistant director and co-producer in a number of films.

Arjun was born on June 26 to Indian parents, famous producer Boney Kapoor and businesswoman and producer Mona Kapoor, who passed away three weeks before the release of Arjun's first film Ishaqzaade due to cancer. Arjun is the grandson of the great director Surinder Kapoor and the nephew of the actors Sanjay Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, which means that actress and fashion designer Sonam Kapoor is Arjun Kapoor's cousin. He has one sister, Anshula Kapoor.

It is worth noting that when he was 10 years old, his father Boney decided to divorce his wife Mona so that he could marry retired actress Sridevi. Since then, Arjun separated from his father, and his mother raised them alone. Arjun remained away from his father for many years, refusing to meet him or talk to him because of what he had done until he became a young man. Then he began to accept his father's wife Sridevi and accept her children and his siblings from his father, who are Jahanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Arjun Kapoor served as a co-producer on two of his father's productions, No Entry (2005), which starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta and Bipasha Basu, and Wanted (2009), which starred Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia and Vinod Khanna.
