He was greedy for money and lost 125 million pounds. Sobhi added: “I was greedy. I had money that I collected and sold my wife’s gold and collected the money and borrowed money from people to import the corn ship. I gave the person the money in a way that would please God. I waited for the corn but it did not come. I discovered that this person had defrauded half of the Egyptians and traveled to another country. I tried to search for him and his family was avoiding me, but I could not reach him.”

He continued: “I needed money to pack the shop, and I was in debt to some customers. It was a difficult period, so I borrowed 75 million pounds from people, and the amount made interest and became 125 million pounds. From here, I put the restaurant up for sale, and I offered it to a famous restaurant, and they asked to take the shop. I sold the shop to a famous restaurant owner. I worked with the new owner by supplying meat and making videos. I remained an extra in the shop, and no one told me, ‘Mr. Sobhi, God has wisdom in that. He honors whomever He wills and humiliates whomever He wills. The restaurant page is mine, but the restaurant is not mine.’”
