The Lebanese star caused a stir with his comment about the reason for his delayed marriage, and his clever response to the subject, saying: "It is not necessary to get married. Well, I ask the husband, why did you get married? It all comes from fear: fear of losing the other, fear of loneliness, fear of growing up alone, fear of not continuing through our children, fear of being single, fear of how society will view you if you do not get married."

He continued: "All this worry is the least of my worries. Do you know how many people are married with children and are still single? Maybe more than 70 percent. Loneliness is not conditional on marriage or not being married."

When asked if he felt any deficiency in his life, he said boldly, “I don’t lack anything in my life. I have achieved something, thank God. Nothing is achieved in the world, so when you reach this idea, you no longer lack anything in the true sense.”

He added: "You only feel the loss when you lose someone dear to you. Other than that, it's all details."

New global participation

On the other hand, Khabbaz has finished filming a new Canadian movie titled "A Thousand Secrets, A Thousand Dangers" in French.

Khabbaz revealed that he plays the role of a man of Lebanese origin in the film, residing in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a different and new role for him artistically, without revealing any additional details.

Khabbaz noted that he is collaborating on the new Canadian film, "A Thousand Secrets, A Thousand Dangers," with world-renowned French director Philippe Falardeau, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2012 for his film "Monsieur Lazhar." He believes that Falardeau will create a unique artistic statement in the new film through his distinguished directorial vision.
