Artist Wael Abdel Aziz wrote on his Facebook account: “My friend, the Kuwaiti artist and director Abdulaziz Al-Haddad, passed away to the mercy of God. He was a beautiful, elegant person and a creative artist. May God have mercy on him, forgive him and grant him a place in his spacious heavens.” Artist Hossam Dagher also expressed his deep shock, saying: “I lost my friend and beloved, the great Kuwaiti actor Abdulaziz Al-Haddad. We spent the most beautiful days filming the series Al-Jabriya, Flight 422. How much I loved him as an actor, poet and writer. Since then, Al Haddad has been able to leave a great mark in the world of Kuwaiti and Arab art, whether in acting, directing or writing.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Although he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1977, his passion for art was always at the forefront of his interests, which prompted him to continue presenting quality works for more than five decades. Among his most prominent works that are still in the audience’s memory are the series “The Three Brothers” in 1978, as well as the series “Tears and Joy” which was shown in 2020. In addition, he presented more than 30 series and participated in many distinguished plays such as “Pliers” in 1987. His works will remain present in the hearts of his fans, as they formed an integral part of the history of Kuwaiti art.<br></p>
