Hala Shiha apologizes to Ashraf Zaki and the artistic community. Learn the full story

The artist, Hala Shiha, thanked the captain of the actors, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, after his statements on a television program about her return to acting again, stressing that he would embrace her and that he forgave her for what she said at the time of her retirement regarding art and artists.

Hala Shiha said, on her Facebook page: “Thank you to the great house of the Syndicate of Representative Professions, and thank you Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the captain who supports and supports every Egyptian creator and every person before he is an artist.”

And she added: “I went through four years in my life that were among the most difficult, but thank God, with every moment of fatigue or pain I went through, I learned a lot and increased strength and determination to get out of the inevitable adversities in life.”

And she continued: “Thank you for all the support from my colleagues, all of them with their love and I always wish each one of them success, and my beautiful audience and everyone who spoke about me well and understood what I went through, and thought well of me, and I apologize for any word that came from me that came out at a critical time in my life, and I did not mean I never offend anyone, and I only carry all love, and I wish the best for all people.”

And she went on: “I hope that the people who enter write their opinion or comment, I would like to tell them enough, and if you do not have a kind word quietly, you can look at my page. Four years of bullying and harmful words are enough for me and my family. Any artist is a human being before he is an artist or famous, so consider that he is a human being. Thank you.

Dr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Acting Professions Syndicate, spoke about Hala Shiha's return to acting, saying: "If she decided to return, I am not the decision-maker, in the entire artistic family. I will take the opinion of all Egyptian artists."

He added, "Because what happened to the artistic family, although I know the answer from now on, because the artistic family is tolerant."

And Dr. Ashraf Zaki confirmed that the artist, Hala Shiha, contacted him, continuing: “She told me that I am coming soon and I need to come back to meet you.”

It is noteworthy that the artist, Hala Shiha, decided in 2021 to move away from art and attack its pioneers, whether artists or even followers, after her marriage to Moez Masoud and her wearing the hijab again.

Hala wearing the hijab and temporarily retiring from art came after a series of retirement and return, as she decided to retire and return more than once for personal reasons as well.
